Listen to "Exhale" Listen to Exhale!

Fast Machine uploaded their debut digital single in September of 2013 . It was the first new recording by the band in 8 years. The song has a much heavier sound than any previous work and marked a dramatic departure from their earlier, softer, pop/rock sound. Due to unanticipated delays, it was determined that some singles would be unbundled from the 9 song CD that began production on May 26, 2012. It has not been determined if the unbundled singles will be used to form a shorter length EP release, or simply remain singles released in advance of the full-length CD itself.

Still She Believes
(demo version)

Fast Machine released their second recorded work in 2005 in the form of a 2 song CD Single. It was packaged in a small full color cardboard jacket, which was a popular packaging format at the time for this type of product. The release was intended to be a promotional primer for the upcoming release of their debut full length CD "Learning to Fly". The sound was a bit heavier than their initial release, but still moody, with the original pop/rock influence. At the time people likened it to a mix between The Beatles, Oasis and Pink Floyd.

Two notable guests appeared on this release, drummer, Ron Wikso (The Storm, Gregg Rolie Band) and lead guitarist, Kurt Griffey (Gregg Rolie Band), but neither appeared live with Fast Machine. There was never a reprint of this title making physical copies extremely difficult to find now.

The little boy depicted on the cover (Seth Easter) is not related to anyone in the band. The photo is from the Easter family archive and was used with their permission.

Fast Machine released their very first recorded work in 2002 in the form of a 2 song CD Single. It was packaged in a small full color cardboard jacket, which was a popular packaging format at the time for this type of product. The release was intended to be a promotional primer for the upcoming release of their debut full length CD "Learning 2 Fly". The sound was moody pop/rock. At the time people likened it to a mix between The Beatles, Oasis and Pink Floyd.

There was never a reprint of this title making physical copies extremely difficult to find now. Prior to this time, the band distributed various unprofessionally packaged "snippet" CD samplers.

The boys depicted on the cover inset photo are J.J. Fairbanks and Cole Fairbanks, both of whom are related to Gary. The photo, although now dated, is still intended to be used for the cover of Gary's solo debut CD scheduled for mid-2024 release.
